Role description
A tier-1 investment bank is looking for 2 Oracle EBS specialists to support and enhance its Financials landscape.
Both roles are initial 6-month contracts, based in Central London with hybrid working (2 days per week on-site)
One position is more functional, with responsibilities listed first. The other is a technical role, responsibilities second.
There will be a natural crossover, so please do apply if either (or both) are appropriate:
Functional Responsibilities
• Support Oracle EBS Financials (GL, AP, FA, EBTax) across BAU and projects.
• Lead functional design, configuration and requirement gathering.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specs and support UAT.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and guide users through resolutions.
• Provide user training and support for rollouts/enhancements.
Technical Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain interfaces, integrations and customisations.
• Deliver technical design, build, testing and deployment activities.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specs.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across code, data flows and integrations.
• Ensure data integrity and alignment with Oracle EBS R12 standards.
Requirements
• Strong Oracle EBS R12 Financials experience (GL, AP, FA).
• SQL, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, Workflow, OAF, Unix, APEX, Java, AME, OIC
• Full lifecycle implementation and production support background.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles would be a bonus
