Job Title - Oracle Goldengate Techno-Functional ConsultantLocation – NC - USA (Hybrid/Remote)Start Date - Immediate Duration: Contract – 3 months ( to start with and high possibility of extending to be a long-time contract based on performance) Role Summary - We are seeking an experienced Oracle Goldengate Techno-Functional Consultant to support an ongoing data replication platform migration from STRIM to Oracle Goldengate. The consultant will play a key role in solution design, migration execution, validation, and post-migration support, working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the migration from STRIM to Oracle GoldenGate with minimal business disruptionDesign, configure, and implement Oracle GoldenGate replication solutionsPerform impact analysis, data mapping, and replication strategy planningCollaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integrationTroubleshoot GoldenGate issues related to performance, latency, and data consistencySupport testing, validation, cutover, and stabilization activitiesProvide documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational handoverAct as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring requirements are clearly translated into solutions Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with Oracle Goldengate (Classic and/or Microservices Architecture)Proven experience in data replication or CDC tools, preferably including STRIMSolid understanding of Oracle databases, SQL, and data architectureExperience in migration projects involving replication technologiesAbility to analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical designsStrong troubleshooting and performance tuning skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred QualificationsExperience in regulated or enterprise environments (e.g., Life Sciences, BFSI, Healthcare)Knowledge of Unix/Linux scriptingExposure to cloud platforms (OCI, Azure)Oracle Goldengate certification (nice to have) Job Type: Contract Work Location: In person
