Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking an Oracle HCM, Business Intelligence/Reporting & Analytics Manager to join their team. Summary: This role is offset by significant gains in data quality, decision-making speed, and operational efficiency. It also reduces risk exposure and enhances the strategic value of our HCM data. They will be responsible for overseeing a team that will be responsible for ensuring our people data is governed, accessible and leveraged appropriately by proper analysis and creating meaningful outputs. This group will consolidate creation of segmented visualization development, support executive decision making, and guide effective transactional/operational needs. Duties:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Oracle Cloud reporting tools such as Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher (BIP)
β’ Work with business units to understand their reporting requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs
β’ Perform fit-gap analysis against stakeholder reporting requirements
β’ Configure and manage Oracle Cloud reporting environments, ensuring data integrity and security
β’ Create complex data models, data visualizations/dashboards, and ad-hoc queries to meet business reporting needs
β’ Ensure reports are optimized for performance, accuracy, and usability
β’ Analyze sets of data within Oracle Cloud applications to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
β’ Translate complex data findings into clear, concise reports and presentations for stakeholders
β’ Perform catalog audit to optimize existing categorization for better efficiencies
β’ Manage report scheduling, distribution, and access controls to ensure timely and secure delivery of information
β’ Create and update detailed documentation for reports, including technical specifications, data sources, and user guides
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education plus relevant experience
β’ 5-10 years of experience
β’ Experience building and supporting Oracle Fusion Reports
β’ OTBI, BICC, BIP, SQL, PL/SQL; Power BI a plus
β’ Backend knowledge of Oracle Fusion architecture as it pertains to reporting
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
β’ Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
β’ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks on assignments
β’ Ability to work well with offshore teams
β’ Ability to work well in a team environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
