Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Hyperion Consultant to support, enhance, and maintain Oracle Hyperion applications in an onsite capacity in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Hyperion EPM modules, financial reporting, system administration, and close collaboration with finance and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Support, configure, and enhance Oracle Hyperion EPM applications
Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Perform system administration, application configuration, and troubleshooting across Hyperion modules
Develop, maintain, and optimize:
Business rules
Calculation scripts
Data forms
Financial reports and dashboards
Manage data integration, validation, and reconciliation processes
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Monitor system performance and resolve production issues
Ensure compliance with SOX, audit, and internal control requirements
Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides
Provide user training and ongoing production support
Mandatory Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion EPM Suite, including one or more of the following:
Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
Hyperion Planning / Workforce Planning
Hyperion Essbase
Financial Reporting (FR)
Experience with:
Calculation Manager and business rules
Smart View for Excel
Strong knowledge of:
Financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
Experience supporting on-prem or cloud-based Hyperion environments
Nice-to-Have / Preferred Skills
Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS, FCCS, EPBCS)
Data integration tools:
FDMEE
ODI
SQL and scripting experience
Experience with system upgrades and migrations
Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion
Prior experience working in regulated or SOX-compliant environments
