Role description
ONLY W2 CANDIDATES FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY.
Oracle OCI Fusion Developer | Remote (EST ONLY)
We are seeking a hands-on Oracle Fusion / OCI Architect to lead and execute critical financial integration work for an enterprise acquisition. This individual will be responsible for standing up and operationalizing a robust data-ingestion and reporting architecture in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Fusion Financials, ensuring the acquiring entity has Day-1 access to complete, accurate, and auditable financial data.
This is not a conceptual or advisory role — the architect must be able to design, build, and deliver. The work will involve brute-force extraction and transformation in the near term, with a path toward establishing a sustainable, automated solution thereafter.
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years overall IT experience with at least 5 years in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Proven, hands-on experience in OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), Fusion Data Extracts, and Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP).
• Strong financial domain knowledge — General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, re-valuation, multi-currency, and consolidation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to handle large-volume data extraction and transformation for audit-ready financial reporting.
• Expert in SQL / PL-SQL, REST integrations, and OCI data services.
• Ability to independently architect and develop — not just oversee conceptually.
• Prior experience in M&A / Day-1 financial readiness or similar enterprise integration programs strongly preferred.
Skills:
• Familiarity with Fusion BI Publisher, OTBI, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Experience building reusable data models and transformation logic across financial domains.
• Strong understanding of audit, compliance, and reconciliation processes in multi-currency environments.
• Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate with finance and technical stakeholders with minimal translation.
