Job Title : Sr. Oracle PLSQL Developer location : Smithfield, RI (hybrid) Duration : 18 Month Contract Required skills: • Sr. level experience with Oracle PL/SQL • ETL Design (or snap logic) • Containerization Nice to have: • Coaching experience or mentorship Description The Purpose of This Role • Senior Database Developer for the Workplace Investment team will be responsible for designing and driving implementation of applications/ framework using Oracle, SQL Server, Informatica, Control-M. • This technology group provides superior development and maintenance support to the overall Workplace Investment organization. The Value You Deliver • Developing and designing robust high per-performance database solutions. • Assessing and researching current implementations of the platform and determining the course of action required to elevate the platform to meet customer needs. • Taking the business requirements coupled with existing architecture to set a technical vision for features and major components and clearly articulating the evolutionary steps to achieve it. The Skills that are Key to this role • Your experience in PL/SQL programming including packages, procedures, function and triggers. • Your ability to optimize complex queries and design efficient solutions. • Your experience working in enterprise environments with version control and deployment standards. • Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills with detail-oriented mindset. • Your experience in ETL design and development. • Your experience with data base such as Oracle (Primary), SQL server. • Your experience of working in Agile methodology. • Your knowledge of Containerization and cloud deployment related to Database. • Ability to build communication and rapport with partners, stakeholders. • Ability to adapt in a changing environment and be effective in many different business settings. • Ability to take initiative, define vision for betterment of products, and execute at high level of quality The skills that are good to have for this role • Ability to plan and work with geographically spread-out teams • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. • Curiosity to constantly relearn/explore new processes/technologies • Skills/Knowledge and Experience: • Languages: Oracle PL/SQL , Informatica ETL (Mandatory) • Databases: Good understanding and experience on RDBMS (Mandatory) • Methodology: Agile • Others: Other database like SQL Server and Sybase (Advantage)
