Role description
Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer/Analyst Location: New York City, 10019 (3 days onsite a week) Local Only Job Description Client is looking for a Technical/Functional expert to join our Regulatory Reporting IT Team. The ideal candidate for this role has the skills to do development, solution design, data analysis and possesses a strong functional knowledge of regulatory reporting topics. Technically the candidate should be able to develop on PL/SQL. Functionally the candidate should be able to synthesize user requirements, perform solution design, development, and data validation for regulatory reporting topics (e.g. FR 2052A, FRY-15, etc). Technical: • Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL. • Oracle Data warehouse and DataMart development using Oracle PL/SQL and Unix. --Developing PL/SQL packages, procedures, Functions, Cursors. • Releasing/packaging code into production. • Full understanding of SDLC life cycle. Functional: • Expert knowledge developing and implementing technology solutions for regulatory reporting. Must have experience implementing the FR 2052a report. • Ability to create and implement solution designs to achieve business requirements • Ability to analyze, problem solve and summarize functional subjects • Ability to perform data validation of regulatory reports • Self-sufficient and pro-active in sourcing information Other: • Ability to work independently and has excellent troubleshooting skills. • Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience: • 10+ years' experience as a Developer/Analyst in a Financial Institution working on regulatory reporting topics • Must have experience implementing the FR 2052A report. • Must have experience developing in PL/SQL and analyzing code • Must have experience working within the regulatory reporting domain • Must have experience liaising with end-users and technical teams • Must have experience in functional testing and data validation • Experience working with Axiom software
