Role: Oracle QA RMS & WMS
Location: Must be local to OH and Onsite
Job description:
This is a contractor role for a Senior QA Engineer RMS & WMS. The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies for the Distribution Center Migration Project, including manual tests, identifying defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues, and ensuring the system meets high quality standards, while leveraging their expertise in the Retail domain and strong understanding of RMS, WMS functionalities and integrations.
Essential Requirements:
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years of recent experience as a QA Test Lead.
• Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams in a dynamic, fast environment, reporting status to higher management, creating defect reports with resolutions and test metrics.
• Experience in STLC and Defect Life Cycle. Candidate will be required to prepare effort estimation and lead all aspects of testing.
• Proven experience as a QA Lead with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proven experience in test case design and test plan creation.
• Experience with Integration testing.
• Proficiency in analyzing business and functional documents, understand technical specifications and setup test environment, set clear goals and expectations, manage multiple priorities, prioritize activities, facilitate the collection of technical, operational or business requirements, set milestones and follow through to successful completion.
• Expertise in testing retail management systems (RMS) functionalities like inventory management, Purchase Order, ReSA, RPM and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of defects.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of QA testers Collaborate with business and technology cross-functional teams.
• Ability to determine feasibility of requirements, estimate time frames and resources needed, and assist Test planning.
• Skilled in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL languages to validate the data in backend tables.
• Ability to work in both Agile and Waterfall approaches.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and Atlassian stack.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
Desirable Skills /Experience:
• Experience testing complex enterprise applications involving Legacy systems.
• Experience in WMS system migration projects.
• Experience in Performance and Load Testing.
• Experience with API and Web Services testing.
