Enterprise Orchestration & Workload Automation Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced orchestration and workload automation engineer to design, integrate, and support enterprise scheduling and CI/CD orchestration across multiple environments. This role focuses on defining technical standards, automated controls, and integrations using leading enterprise workload automation platforms.
Automic (UC4) experience is helpful but not required. Comparable tools are acceptable.
Responsibilities
• Define enterprise standards, controls, and processes for orchestration and workload automation.
• Design and implement automated promotion pipelines across Dev, Test, Pre-Prod, and Production.
• Integrate workload automation platforms with CI/CD, secrets management, and enterprise tooling, including:
• Jenkins, GitHub, Harness
• Kafka and event watchers
• CyberArk, ForgeRock
• Enforce automated deployment controls through orchestration integrations.
• Design and support CI/CD pipelines for on-prem infrastructure and enable code coverage.
• Develop POCs, reusable orchestration templates, and supporting databases.
• Support Production Control and Tech Ops teams (agents, failover, FTP, Ansible).
• Create architecture diagrams, runbooks, and playbooks.
• Provide production support and document issues and resolutions.
Workload Automation Platforms (Any One or More)
Experience with at least one enterprise scheduler/orchestration tool such as:
• Automic (UC4)
• Control-M (BMC)
• Tidal Automation
• IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS / Tivoli)
• Stonebranch Universal Automation Center
• Redwood RunMyJobs
