Position: Current or Former CTO/Founder Type: Part-time Compensation: $130–$200/hour Location: Remote Commitment: Flexible hours Role Responsibilities • Authorize and enable access to your private codebase for evaluation and training. Coordinate secure repository access with a limited license. • Curate high-value datasets by selecting representative modules and defining inclusion/exclusion rules. Strip or mask secrets/PII. • Design realistic evaluations using task suites from your stack. Include refactors, bug-fixes, feature diffs, tests, and performance work. • Develop test harnesses and scoring that reflect real engineering constraints. Consider builds, CI, style, coverage, and performance. • Analyze outcomes by reviewing model behavior on your code. Highlight failure modes and propose improvements aligned to your architecture. • Ensure compliance and security by partnering on data handling, audit logs, redaction, secret scanning, and access revocation. Qualifications Must-Have • CTO/founder (current or former) with authority over a substantial production codebase. • Ability to grant a time-boxed, purpose-limited license for evaluation and training. • Deep knowledge of your system’s architecture, tooling, and standards (Git, CI/CD, testing, observability). • Fluency in one or more of: Python, Java, C/C++, JavaScript, TypeScript. • Ability to collaborate asynchronously and move quickly with minimal oversight. • Active OSS contributor on Git. Compensation & Legal • Engaged as an hourly contractor via Mercor; payments weekly via Stripe Connect. • Separate, limited licenses available for evaluation and/or training use of selected code assets. • All work governed by mutually executed MSA/SOW and data protection terms.
