OutSystems ODC SME / OutSystems ODC Migration Specialist

The Role As an OutSystems ODC SME, you will lead architectural, migration and modernisation initiatives on the OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC). You will act as the primary technical expert for ODC design, capability enablement, and best practices, while also guiding teams through endtoend migration from OutSystems 11 to ODC. With strong handson technical capability and deep understanding of OutSystems architecture, you will design scalable cloudnative applications, address compatibility challenges, and ensure solutions meet security, performance and maintainability standards. You will collaborate with architects, developers, product teams, and enterprise stakeholders, providing leadership, training and technical governance. Key responsibilities: • Act as the primary SME for ODC architecture, features, and platform best practices. • Design scalable ODC applications aligned to cloudnative and lowcode engineering patterns. • Provide strategic guidance on governance, CI/CD, security models and performance optimisation. • Lead migration assessments including gap analysis, architecture review and effort estimation. • Define and implement migration strategies for OutSystems 11 → ODC. • Rearchitect or refactor components (data models, integrations, UI modules, logic flows) to ensure ODC readiness. • Resolve migration related compatibility challenges, technical constraints and performance issues. • Collaborate with enterprise architects to define futurestate ODCbased solutions. • Develop reusable frameworks, templates and accelerators to support ODC adoption. • Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance and maintainability standards. • Translate business and product requirements into robust technical designs. • Provide technical leadership to development teams, conduct code reviews and enforce standards. • Deliver training, workshops and knowledgesharing sessions on ODC capabilities. • Implement cloudnative DevOps practices including automated builds, deployments and monitoring. • Manage ODC environments, configuration, security setup and lifecycle management. • Integrate ODC applications with enterprise systems (REST/SOAP APIs, identity providers, databases, etc.). Your Profile: • Strong OutSystems development experience, including solid experience with ODC or experience through early adopter programmes. • Hands-on experience migrating applications from OutSystems 11 to ODC. • Strong understanding of OutSystems architecture, BPT, integrations, data modelling and performance tuning. • Experience designing scalable, enterprise grade low-code applications. • Knowledge of cloud fundamentals (Azure or AWS). • Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, Git and automated testing. • Excellent communication, problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills. Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: • OutSystems ODC Certification. • OutSystems Associate or Professional Developer Certification. • OutSystems Architecture Specialist Certification. • Cloud certifications (Azure / AWS).
