Role Description

This is a hybrid role for a P4 Developer located in San Jose, CA. The P4 Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing P4 programs on programmable data plane devices. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, writing efficient and maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and troubleshooting complex network issues. The developer will work closely with network architects and engineers to implement innovative solutions that meet stringent performance and reliability criteria.

Qualifications

   • Proficiency in P4 programming, network protocols, and network architecture

   • Experience with programmable data planes and SDN (Software-Defined Networking)

   • Skills in coding languages such as Python, C++, or Java

   • Understanding of network simulation and testing tools

   • Strong problem-solving ability and debugging skills

   • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

   • Prior experience in the networking industry is a plus

   • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
