Role description
Job Title: Packaging Data Analyst
Duration: 7-8 month contract assignment
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Data Analyst to support its Product Packaging team on a contract basis. This individual will be responsible for extracting, validating, analyzing, and reporting regulatory and compliance-related SKU data across multiple lines of business. The role will partner cross-functionally with internal teams to gather missing information, maintain data integrity, and support packaging initiatives that help ensure global legal and regulatory compliance requirements are met.
This position is well suited for a candidate with strong analytical skills, experience working with large data sets, and the ability to navigate multiple systems in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable supporting cross-functional packaging and reporting initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Extract and analyze SKU-level data from SAP to support packaging, regulatory, and compliance initiatives
• Identify, source, and validate data not currently available within SAP by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Compile, maintain, and distribute reports for the Product Packaging team and key stakeholders
• Update and maintain SKU-related information in Oracle as needed
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data used for compliance and reporting purposes
• Support reporting deadlines and business priorities by managing multiple data requests and deliverables simultaneously
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather required information and resolve data gaps efficiently
• Assist with packaging-related project support tied to ongoing business initiatives
Required Qualifications:
• Experience working with large data sets in a professional environment
• Strong ability to prioritize workload and meet reporting deadlines
• Experience working across multiple databases and systems
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain required information
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions
• Experience with SAP data extraction and reporting
• Experience updating and maintaining data in Oracle
• Background supporting regulatory, compliance, packaging, or product data-related initiatives
• Prior experience in an analyst, project support, or packaging-related function
Additional Details:
• Temporary contract assignment expected to run approximately 7 to 8 months
