Palantir Engineer

Role: Palantir Engineer. Location: Milwaukee, WI (Onsite). Duration: Long Term Contract. Job Summary: • The Palantir Engineer will lead the design and implementation of data and workflow solutions using Palantir Foundry, AIP, and Work Model to unlock high value insights and operational efficiencies across the organization. The role combines deep Palantir expertise with strong stakeholder engagement, enabling data-driven decision making, predictive analytics, and streamlined collaboration in a complex enterprise environment. Refined Responsibilities: • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines, transformations, and applications within Palantir Foundry and AIP to enhance business intelligence and decision support. • Integrate disparate data sources into unified, ontology-driven datasets and workflows, improving data accessibility and usability across systems and teams. • Perform expert analysis on complex data sets, translating findings into clear insights and recommendations that inform strategic and operational decisions. • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and prioritize use cases where Palantir technologies can drive innovation, process optimization, and automation. • Develop and maintain robust documentation for data models, pipelines, workflows, and methodologies to ensure consistency, reproducibility, and knowledge sharing. • Apply and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance across Palantir implementations, including access control and auditability. • Continuously monitor and evaluate solution performance, stability, and business impact, iterating to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. • Facilitate workshops and hands-on training to improve team proficiency with Foundry, AIP, and Work Model, and to evangelize platform capabilities. • Use Palantir Work Model to orchestrate collaborative workflows, standardize development practices, and streamline coordination across engineering and analytics teams. • Support and contribute to predictive modeling and AI/ML use cases within Palantir, enabling forecasting and advanced analytics where appropriate. • Engage closely with stakeholders to understand business questions, refine requirements, and deliver tailored Palantir-based solutions that are adoption-ready. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the quality, speed, and impact of data engineering and analysis on Palantir platforms. Refined Qualifications: • Proven proficiency with Palantir Foundry and Palantir AIP for building data pipelines, analytical workflows, and operational applications. • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience interpreting complex, high-volume data sets and turning them into actionable insights. • Solid understanding of data modeling, data integration, and workflow design in enterprise environments, ideally using ontology-driven approaches. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams and engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience designing or supporting predictive/ML-driven solutions, including model operationalization in production contexts. • Demonstrated ability to lead training sessions, workshops, or enablement programs to upskill colleagues on Palantir tools and data best practices. • Track record of driving process and quality improvements in data engineering and analysis, including standardization and automation initiatives.
