Role description
Overview
We are seeking a Palantir Foundry Consultant to join our data engineering and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines, designing robust data models, and delivering business solutions within Palantir Foundry. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and workflows in Palantir Foundry.
β’ Integrate data from multiple internal and external systems into the Foundry platform.
β’ Develop and maintain Ontologies and data models to support operational and analytical use cases.
β’ Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to translate requirements into Foundry solutions.
β’ Implement governance, security, and access controls to ensure compliance and data integrity.
β’ Create and support Foundry applications, dashboards, and workflows for end-users.
β’ Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability.
β’ Document solutions and provide training to business stakeholders on Foundry usage.
Required Skills:
β’ Strong programming background with SQL and Python.
β’ Experience in data engineering, ETL, and data modeling.
β’ Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (pipelines, ontology, data integration).
β’ Knowledge of APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and distributed data systems.
β’ Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
Preferred Skills:
β’ Experience with machine learning workflows or MLOps in Foundry.
β’ Familiarity with BI/visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Foundryβs native apps).
β’ Prior experience in regulated industries (healthcare, government, finance, defense).
Soft Skills:
β’ Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
β’ Ability to work in cross-functional teams and bridge technical/business requirements.
β’ Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Education & Experience
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
β’ 3+ years of experience in data engineering or software development roles.
β’ Prior experience with Palantir Foundry is highly desirable.
