Palantir Foundry Data Engineer

Job Title: Palantir Foundry Data Engineer (W2 role only for USC and GC holders) Location: Any Infosys Location (Hybrid) Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Palantir Foundry Data Engineer with strong expertise in Spark and Palantir Foundry, including Ontology implementation and Workshop application development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing scalable data solutions, developing production-grade applications, and driving digital transformation initiatives for enterprise clients. This role requires hands-on experience building mission-critical applications on the Palantir Foundry platform while collaborating with global delivery teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using Palantir Foundry. • Build robust data pipelines using Transform API and Pipeline Builder. • Develop batch and real-time data processing workflows. • Configure source synchronizations, health checks, and data quality expectations. • Design and implement Ontology objects, links, actions, and functions. • Structure and manage data using the Object Data Layer (ODL). • Develop business applications using Foundry Workshop. • Translate business requirements into intuitive operational workflows and user-centric applications. • Build interactive applications using Ontology objects, links, and actions. • Develop custom business logic using Python and TypeScript within Workshop widgets. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver scalable enterprise solutions. • Follow development best practices, coding standards, and version control processes. Required Skills • Strong experience with Palantir Foundry platform. • Hands-on experience building production applications in Palantir Foundry. • Experience with Spark-based data engineering. • Strong knowledge of Transform API. • Experience with Pipeline Builder for batch and real-time processing. • Experience configuring Source Syncs, Health Checks, and Data Expectations. • Strong understanding of Ontology implementation, including Objects, Links, Actions, and Functions. • Experience working with Object Data Layer (ODL). • Experience developing applications using Foundry Workshop. • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable applications. • Experience developing custom functions using Python and TypeScript. • Experience with code repositories and utility-driven development. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
