Position Title: Palantir Foundry EngineerLocation: Nashville, TN (Onsite from Day One)
Note: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry is Must.
Job Summary
Seeking a Palantir Foundry Engineer with strong experience in designing ontology-first data products, building reliable data pipelines, and operationalizing them into secure and reusable components. The role involves managing the complete data lifecycle — from raw data sources to governed and versioned datasets — while ensuring performance, governance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design ontology models and authoritative datasets with proper lineage and schema evolution.
Develop and optimize transforms using SQL and PySpark/Scala.
Build and manage data pipelines, including orchestration, monitoring, and recovery.
Implement governance, RBAC, and data quality checks for compliance.
Optimize data joins, partitions, and materialization for cost and performance.
Manage Git repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
Document workflows and mentor team members on best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
15+ years of experience in Data or Analytics Engineering.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry.
Expertise in Foundry Ontology, Code Workbooks, Pipelines, and Permissions.
Strong SQL and PySpark/Scala skills.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data file formats (Parquet/Delta).
Proficiency in CI/CD, Git, and automation tools.
Strong understanding of data governance, performance optimization, and compliance standards.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Workshop/Slate and AIP integration.
Familiarity with streaming tools (Kafka, Kinesis) and observability platforms.
Exposure to FinOps or cost governance frameworks.
