Role description
Job Title: Payroll Data Analyst (Workday) Location: UK,Β Remote (with milestone-based travel) Employment type:Β 18-Month Fixed Term Contract We are seeking an experienced Payroll Data Analyst to support payroll delivery and testing activities as part of an 18-month fixed-term engagement. This role is remote, with occasional travel required at key project milestones. Working closely with the Payroll Lead, you will be responsible for extracting, analysing, and validating payroll data, performing payroll calculations for testing, and ensuring payroll processes are progressing accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and be confident interpreting payroll legislation and expected outcomes. Key Responsibilities β€’ Analyse and extract payroll data from Workday and related systems β€’ Perform payroll calculations to support testing and validation activities β€’ Support end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness β€’ Work closely with the Payroll Lead to track progress and resolve data or process issues β€’ Validate payroll actions and outcomes, ensuring they align with legislation and best practice β€’ Provide insight into payroll pay averaging, statutory requirements, and compliance expectations Key Requirements β€’ Strong experience working with payroll data and end-to-end payroll processes β€’ Proven ability to calculate and validate payroll data for testing purposes β€’ Solid understanding of payroll actions, legislation, and what β€œgood” payroll outcomes look like β€’ Experience with Workday PayrollΒ strongly preferred β€’ Ability to collaborate effectively with payroll and project stakeholders This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented payroll professional to play a key role in a high-impact payroll initiative.
