Role description
Job Title: P&C Transformation Data Analytics Analyst Job Location: Sunbury-on-Thames - Hybrid Contract Length: 12 Months Industry: Oil and Energy Working Hours: 8 per day/40 per week Role Overview: The PC&C Transformation Data Analytics Analyst is a key member of the business case workstream within the PC&C Transformation team, and reports to the Senior Manager, PC&C Value Realization. The role requires analytical and data insights mindset, and modelling capabilities to support effective decision‑making and successful delivery of the programme business case. What you will do: • Forecasting & Performance Cycles • Manage the monthly transformation spend forecasting, performance tracking cycles, and reporting, including third party costs reconciliations. • Team Change Requests • Coordinate transformation team change requests and resource onboarding, ensuring smooth operational processes. • Business Case Performance & Planning • Support the ongoing planning, performance management, and governance of the programme business case, ensuring accurate tracking and visibility of progress. • Provide high‑quality people data analysis and actionable insights to key stakeholders, enabling informed decision‑making and supporting business case delivery. • Build and maintain cost assumptions to robustly model scenarios and implications. • Data Governance & Compliance • Coordinate and manage requests for people data, ensuring alignment with data privacy and governance requirements. • Executive & Leadership Materials • Support preparation and delivery of high‑quality pre‑read materials for LT and transformation workstream reviews, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and insight. What you will have: • Numerical & Analytical Skills – Highly numerate with strong analytical capability, including experience building and optimising Excel models. • Insight Generation from Data – Proven ability to interpret incomplete or ambiguous data and develop meaningful insights to support executive decision‑making • Strong Problem‑Solving & Delivery Under Pressure – Demonstrated success delivering high‑quality outputs under tight deadlines. • Technical Proficiency – Skilled user of MS Office applications including PowerPoint and Word. • Influencing & Relationship‑Building – Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, network, and collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
