Job#: 3039667 Job Description: Client: Financial Services Team: TBA Job Title: Specialty Software Engineer 4 – Pega Configurator / Developer Location: Charlotte, NC (Preferred) – Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote) Contract Length: 6–9 months (possible extension) Pay Rate: $69 - $74 Top Requirements: • 5+ years of hands-on Pega configuration and development (App Studio & Dev Studio) • Experience designing workflows, case types, data models, and business rules • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Pega solutions Plusses: • Pega certification (CSA, CSSA) • Experience in financial services, workflow automation, or process modernization • Experience with integrations, APIs, and enterprise data controls Job Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering. You will analyze and resolve complex workflow automation challenges, contributing to the configuration, development, and enhancement of Pega-based enterprise solutions. This role focuses on enabling scalable, governed workflow capabilities that support enterprise modernization and business process automation. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Configure and develop Pega applications using App Studio and Dev Studio • Design and implement case types, workflows, data models, UI components, and business rules • Translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready Pega solutions • Support testing, debugging, and defect remediation across development cycles • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams • Enhance existing Pega workflows and optimize process automation capabilities • Support integrations with enterprise systems and APIs • Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, governance, and change management processes • Participate in Agile delivery activities and workflow modernization initiatives EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
