Role description
People Analytics – Data Analyst β€’ β€’ W2 contract β€’ β€’ Minimum of 6 months β€’ β€’ REMOTE β€’ β€’ Our client is seeking a Data Analyst II to join their People Insights, Technology & Analytics team. You’ll be part of a high-performing team that analyzes people data to inform business strategy and support data-driven decisions for people and programs, ultimately contributing to business outcomes. As a Data Analyst II, you will collaborate with analytics experts, data scientists, and business intelligence specialists to deliver data and insights that empower leaders to make informed decisions. You will work to understand core analytical approaches and execute on high-quality data-driven outputs for discrete tasks with limited supervision. You will communicate clear insights connected to the business environment and objectives and identify opportunities for improving tasks and processes. What You Bring β€’ 3-5 years of experience in Data Science/Data Analytics, ideally in People Analytics. β€’ Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and stakeholders and represent both stakeholder and People Insights perspectives. β€’ Ability to clean and preprocess data to ensure its accuracy and consistency. β€’ Some experience with HR COEs data and people analytics. β€’ Intermediate skill with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau), static delivery tools (e.g., PowerPoint/G-Slides, Excel, etc). β€’ Ability to manipulate large data sets with high dimensionality and complexity; proficient in SQL. β€’ Experience in a relevant analytics role with a strong preference applying your skills to employee and organization related data. β€’ Ability to work across multiple areas simultaneously and prioritize effectively. β€’ Intermediate experience in data storytelling and use of data visualizations to bring important takeaways and concepts to life. Creates cogent narratives and encourages business partners to critically engage in data-driven decision making. β€’ Foundational experience with inferential statistics (e.g. A/B testing, regression). β€’ Experience in Human Resources technology and tools (for example, including Workday and Greenhouse) and Github/Gitlab is a plus. β€’ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Data Science, Statistics/Applied Mathematics, Organizational/Industrial Psychology and other quantitative fields, or equivalent experience
