Role description
As Pinnacle Pet Group continues to grow, we are seeking a People Data Specialist to join our People Team on a fixed term basis for 6 months. This role is remote (UK based). This role sits within the People team and will focus on reporting across 2 HRIS platforms - Sage and Kronos. The role will develop, maintain, and deliver accurate and insightful management information to support data-driven decision making across the organisation. What you\`ll get up to as our People Shared Services Manager You will be the subject matter expert for People reporting across the business, using data to provide insight into key workforce and business performance metrics. You will monitor internal and external drivers of change and confidently explain KPI trends and performance to senior stakeholders. Working closely with the Data Team and stakeholders across the organisation, you will design and deliver clear, fit‑for‑purpose Power BI dashboards and reports that support both strategic and operational decision‑making. This includes analysing performance against business plans and targets, responding to ad‑hoc requests, and ensuring reporting is relevant, accurate and value‑adding. You will partner with teams across the business to understand reporting needs, support the ongoing automation and digitalisation of People reporting, and help identify opportunities to improve data quality, structures and processes. You will also support a full data cleanse in preparation for an upcoming HRIS RFP and assist with integrating any new systems or modules. Strong collaboration will be key, as you build effective relationships with wider business Data teams, contribute to working groups, and ensure all People reporting complies with data governance, regulatory and confidentiality standards. You will also support stakeholders in interpreting and using reports and dashboards effectively. If this sounds like the new challenge you are looking, we would love to hear from you! What we look for in you as a People Shared Services Manager • Experience working with Sage People, Kronos and ideally Workday • Experience of providing clear, accurate and insightful data in a variety of forms • Strong data analysis experience • A focus on user experience and how to deliver the best possible experience for colleagues across the whole business • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box to provide elegant solutions • High attention to detail and exceptionally well organised • Strong stakeholder management skills • Work effectively as a member of a team or their own. • Delivery focussed • Ability to multitask and prioritise through effective communication within the team • A strong communicator (both in writing and spoken) What we are all about!
