Role description
About AXA AXA is a global leader in insurance and financial services, dedicated to helping customers protect what matters most to them. As the sixth-largest insurance company in the world, we provide a wide range of services, including health, car, home, and business insurance. We support millions of customers worldwide, helping them navigate life's uncertainties with confidence. AXA UK Support Functions look after our three customer-facing business units, providing the infrastructure and expertise to make sure we can be there for our customers. Job Overview We're looking for a People Insights Lead to be the subject matter expert in Data Storytelling within our People Insights team on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll deliver actionable, data-driven insights that inform and influence key decision-making across AXA. You’ll help design the measurement of People Strategy impact, harness predictive analytics and scenario modelling to identify workforce risks and opportunities, and craft engaging narratives that inspire action at all levels. Key Responsibilities • Support the delivery of People Insights by developing a comprehensive data storytelling framework, creating analytics playbooks, and designing standardised narrative templates for consistent reuse. • Generate actionable and decision-ready insights that effectively link data to people-related outcomes. • Design and implement before-and-after evaluation methods that can be applied across various HR initiatives. • Assist the People Insights team in crafting compelling narratives that connect data insights to people outcomes and business impact. • Prepare executive-level briefs and summaries tailored for senior managers. • Establish and maintain regular engagement with HR leaders, business sponsors, and cross-functional partners to build organizational capability through coaching on interpreting analytics and applying insights in decision-making. • Support the migration of People MI platforms to Power BI and Workday, ensuring a smooth transition and effective utilisation. Work Arrangements At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition. Your Skills & Experience • Proven experience delivering insights projects to senior leaders across various functions. • Effective data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable narratives for stakeholders at all levels. • Proficiency in Power BI for reporting is advantageous. • Demonstrated experience in an HR or People Analytics role, with a background of impacting business outcomes preferred. • In-depth understanding of HR metrics, standards, and key people-related data points. • Experience with Python or R for predictive modelling and forecasting, or equivalent technical capabilities. • Ability to building strong relationships with leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional teams to understand needs and deliver value. • Maintain precision and high standards in data analysis and narrative delivery. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
