Performance Measurement, Analytics & Reporting Analyst
Location : Houston, TX / REMOTE
Duration : 6 - 8 months +
Job Summary
As part of the Performance Measurement, Analytics & Reporting (PMAR) team, this role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and validating investment data. The team supports key stakeholders including Portfolio/Product Management, Marketing, Compliance, and Investment Management. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily business needs while contributing to strategic initiatives and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
• Calculate, review, and validate performance data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness; investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Maintain data integrity across systems and databases by adhering to established procedures and controls
• Analyze complex datasets using statistical tools to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues
• Support the construction and maintenance of performance composites in compliance with Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automating recurring and ad hoc analyses into scalable reports, metrics, and dashboards
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to research, analyze, and resolve data-related queries
• Contribute to special projects and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and enhance automated solutions using tools such as SQL and/or VBA
• Understand underlying data infrastructure and proactively troubleshoot data issues
Qualifications & Experience
• Strong experience analyzing large and complex datasets
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is preferred
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts, including working with IT teams on data pipelines and repositories, is a plus
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, SAS, R, or Alteryx is highly desirable
Skills & Attributes
