Performance Reporting & Analytics
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Performance Reporting & Analytics for a contract position in San Rafael, CA. The opportunity will be eight months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: The role will play a critical part in the Data Strategy & Advanced Analytics team, supporting performance reporting, analytics, data management practices, and governance to meet enterprise business needs. Responsibilities include designing and developing compelling data visualizations, analyzing and reporting on sales and marketing information, and enabling data-driven decision-making, including sales tracking, trend evaluation, and market analysis.
• Translate business questions into timely and accurate technical solutions using an in-depth understanding of customers, business models, products, and KPIs.
• Lead business requirements gathering and provide analytical support along with end-user training.
• Collaborate with internal functional partners and external business partners to ensure alignment with data identification, metrics definitions, data visualization, and analytical project objectives.
• Plan and execute insights-driven analytics to inform strategy and improve execution efficiency across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Lead performance reporting and analytics initiatives aligned with the overall strategic direction, vision, and roadmap for each business unit.
• Create and deploy tools and resources to improve market understanding and drive business goals, including global performance dashboards and brand analytics.
• Work with key stakeholders to map strategic initiatives to defined objectives, data sources, and measurable KPIs.
• Lead ongoing development and enhancement of performance reporting suite, including data validation and data gap analyses.
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to align data resources for strategic and operational use.
• Evaluate new analytics methodologies to improve the reach and scale of commercial analytics.
• Develop new data structures to support innovative analytics.
• Provide systems requirements for reporting needs to systems developers.
• Collaborate with offshore resources in building reports and ensure accuracy of reports and underlying data sets.
• Produce high-quality training materials, data dictionary, and other supporting documentation.
• Design and construct dashboards and reporting of brand analytics in support of aligned performance reporting.
• Develop and manage project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Perform ad hoc analytics as needed to support priority projects.
Qualifications:
• A passion for improving patient and business outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Master's preferred).
• 5 to 7 years of business analytics experience.
• 3 years of experience with healthcare analytics, data sources, and tools in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry (preferred).
• Strong experience in design and development of compelling visualizations using applications such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience integrating data from core Sales and Marketing platforms.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Exceptional qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Data Warehouse or Business Intelligence environments.
• Familiarity with omnichannel marketing highly desired, direct experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to prepare and present data in a visually appealing and easy to understand manner.
• Proven ability to connect, integrate, and synthesize analysis and data into meaningful strategic recommendations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of effectiveness and collaboration as a team player.
• Self-starter who demonstrates energy and enthusiasm with a positive solution-oriented approach to challenges.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI (highly preferred), Tableau Desktop, or other visualization tools.
• Experience with other tools such as Marketo or other marketing automation platforms, Salesforce.com, Microsoft SQL Server BI Suite, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
