Role description
The Pharmacovigilance Specialist is a key contributor within a Global Analytics Center of Excellence. This role is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of advanced data visualization, automated reporting, and operational analytics supporting global patient safety initiatives. This individual will transform complex datasets into actionable business intelligence and regulatory reporting solutions while streamlining data retrieval and delivering high-impact metrics across a large-scale, international pharmaceutical environment. Contract Length: 12 months Location: Hybrid in Princeton, NJ (50% remote) Data Analytics & Reporting • Build and maintain analytics models and reporting solutions that provide insights into operational efficiency and KPIs. • Develop databases and applications using Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Business Objects. • Streamline processes by leveraging internal systems to reduce manual data retrieval and reporting efforts. • Aggregate and interpret complex datasets to generate actionable recommendations for senior leadership. • Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and traceability throughout the data lifecycle. • Support business reviews by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing monthly and quarterly operational datasets. Validation & Process Support • Partner with validation teams to support documentation activities, including validation plans, test scripts, and summary reports. • Drive innovation through continuous process improvement initiatives and automation opportunities. • Collaborate with functional leaders and stakeholders to recommend practical, high-impact solutions. Qualifications & Skills Required • Bachelor’s degree required. • 5+ years' experience within Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety environments • Advanced experience with SAP Business Objects (v4.3 preferred). • Strong expertise in Tableau and/or Power BI. • Advanced SQL querying and data analysis skills. • Knowledge of validation documentation requirements within regulated environments. • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Preferred • Advanced experience with Spotfire highly preferred. • Experience working with ARISg or Argus safety databases. • Familiarity with knowledge management concepts including taxonomies and ontologies. Compensation: Hourly Pay Range: $50-60 per hour (dependent on W2 vs. 1099) • The hourly rate offered will be commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
