PhD Telecom Engineer(Python/SQL/RAN/ORAN)

We are looking for a PhD-level Telecom Software/Data Engineer to support advanced work in 5G, 6G, RAN, and O-RAN systems. This role is highly data-driven and software-focused, working with large-scale telecom datasets rather than traditional network operations or RF field work. Recent PhD graduates are encouraged to apply. What You’ll Be Working On • Analyzing large-scale telecom system data from RAN / O-RAN / 5G environments • Writing and optimizing advanced SQL queries to process high-volume datasets • Developing Python scripts and analytics workflows for telecom data • Supporting research and engineering initiatives related to 5G and emerging 6G technologies • Working with telecom KPIs, logs, and performance datasets • Collaborating with engineering and research teams on data-driven insights and prototypes Required • PhD in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field • Strong knowledge of telecom systems, especially 5G, LTE, RAN, and O-RAN • Hands-on experience with SQL, including querying and managing large datasets • Strong Python skills for data analysis and automation
