Role description
Position Title: Ping Engineer
Location: MTV CA / San Diego CA / Plano TX (100% Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage Ping Identity solutions including PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, PingOne, and PingID.
• Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations using SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect protocols.
• Work with customers to onboard applications, renew certificates, and troubleshoot authentication issues.
• Automate and optimize IAM deployments using AWS, Python, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth IAM integration and governance across platforms.
Required Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience with Ping Identity suite (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, PingID).
• In-depth understanding of IAM concepts, SSO, and protocols like SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and LDAP.
• Good knowledge of AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, scripting (Python/Bash), and container tools like Kubernetes/Docker.
• Experience with Agile, JIRA, and collaboration with internal/external stakeholders.
• Okta or other IAM tool experience is a plus.
