Role description
Salary: $21.00 to $22.00 hourly Description Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Platform Specialist to join our operations team. This role will focus on managing day-to-day business operations, including data entry, sending quotes, and placing orders. The Platform Specialist will also address unique or complex transactions outside of our standard platform workflows. As a key support role, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions, verifying and correcting order data, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with Account Managers, Business Owners, and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless experience for both customers and team members. Key Responsibilities • Handle data entry and transactional support with accuracy and efficiency • Generate and send quotes to customers based on internal requests • Place and track orders while ensuring data integrity • Maintain and update records, systems, and reports • Support inquiries related to platform transactions in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs) • Assist in optimizing operational processes and identifying opportunities to improve platform usage • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to convert opportunities into actionable outcomes • Produce data quality reports and share relevant insights with stakeholders • Support the team with general administrative and operational tasks Requirements Qualifications: Required Experience & Skills • High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred • 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations, order management, or customer service • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook • Experience handling transactional data, generating quotes, and placing orders • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with a sense of urgency • Effective communication skills and a customer-service mindset • Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively across departments • Familiarity with business platforms or ERP systems preferred (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Xvantage) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
