Role description
Job Description We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail to provide invaluable support to us while we focus on driving improvements in the Housing Service. We have just been awarded a C2 consumer grade from the Social Housing Regulator, which is a strong result demonstrating our compliance with national standards. We are now committed to driving the improvements identified during the inspection process, and the Policy & Data Analyst will be key to helping us achieve this. To deliver these improvements, good processes and quality data are needed; we are looking for a positive, practical and motivated individual to evaluate and configure policies and deliver accurate data to our stakeholders and the Regulator; identifying inefficiencies and improving processes along the way. This varied role will be responsible for: • Researching the best performing authorities to advise on gaps in housing policy, process and data, and make recommendations • Developing a Smartsheet policy database, undertaking user acceptance testing, where legislative changes and / or expiration dates trigger a programme of reviews going forward. • Developing opportunities and tools for capturing feedback from service users • Undertaking process reviews of, for example, how the service responds to complaints and how the service is managing freedom of Information or subject access requests. • Collating, integrity checking and reporting on data from internal information management systems to inform Regulatory returns and internal performance monitoring. You will bring experience, organisational skills and effective stakeholder engagement and, whilst a background in housing is beneficial, we are looking for someone with an insightful approach, a talent for leveraging AI tools and the ability to deliver results at pace.
