About The Role
We're partnering with world-leading AI research labs to build smarter, more accurate health AI — and we need experienced population health professionals to make it happen. As a Population Health Informaticist, you'll bring your real-world expertise to evaluate, shape, and improve AI systems that reason about health data, trends, and outcomes.
Your domain knowledge will directly influence how AI understands population health — from identifying disparities to supporting evidence-based interventions at scale.

What You'll Do
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs related to population health data, analytics, and public health strategy for accuracy, completeness, and clinical relevance
• Review and assess data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting frameworks produced or described by AI systems
• Identify errors, gaps, or misleading interpretations in AI-generated health insights and surveillance outputs
• Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI better understand population-level health metrics and disparities
• Translate your analytical expertise into clear evaluations that improve AI reasoning in public health contexts
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
• Experienced in population health, public health informatics, epidemiology, or a closely related field
• Comfortable working with large-scale healthcare or population-level datasets
• Skilled in data analysis, visualization, and translating complex findings into actionable insights
• Familiar with health surveillance systems, dashboards, or reporting tools
• Strong written communicator who can explain analytical judgments clearly
• Detail-oriented and reliable when working independently
Nice to Have
• Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation frameworks
• Background in health equity, social determinants of health, or community health programs
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning applications in healthcare
• Experience working in or alongside public health agencies or health systems
