As a PostgreSQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining healthcare data integrations, working with internal and third-party health systems.
Job Description
We are looking for a PostgreSQL Developer to design, build, and maintain healthcare data integrations across systems using PostgreSQL and Oracle, ensuring seamless data interoperability between internal and third-party health systems. This position will be a full-time and hybrid (3 days in-office) in Trenton, NJ. This is a 1+ year contract engagement.

What Youβll Do
β’ Design and develop key modules within our client's system
β’ Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure seamless data integration and interoperability
β’ Understand functional requirements and technical specifications to implement technical solutions
β’ Work independently and as part of a team to design, develop, and test software applications
β’ Provide accurate estimates for design and programming efforts
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve database performance and data integrity issues
β’ Prepare, maintain, and catalog technical documentation and artifacts
Required
What You'll Need
β’ Minimum 5+ years of experience developing and supporting PostgreSQL databases
β’ Experience in database design, data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning
β’ Strong experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views
β’ Experience with database integration, ETL processes, and data migration activities
β’ Full-time professional work experience in Information Technology
Preferred
β’ 2+ years of experience with Oracle databases.
β’ Experience working in an Agile development environment or equivalent fast-paced setting
Physical Demands
β’ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
β’ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
β’ Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
β’ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
