Power Apps Developer/Consultant

Power Platform Developer / Consultant / Architect Moline IL Fulltime/Contract Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Power Platform professional to design, develop, and implement modern business solutions using Microsoft’s low-code/no-code ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Pages, Power Automate workflows, and integrating data using Dataverse and custom connectors. The role requires strong technical development skills, a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Microsoft Power Apps to solve business problems and automate processes. • Develop and configure Power Pages for external-facing portals with responsive and accessible UI. • Automate complex business workflows using Power Automate, integrating with Microsoft 365, Dynamics, and external data sources. • Create and maintain data models using Microsoft Dataverse including tables, relationships, and business rules. • Manage environments and solutions in Power Platform to support ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) and governance best practices. • Build and configure Custom Connectors and Connection References for integrating external APIs. • Use Power Fx functions for logic and app customization. • Develop reusable components using PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) and maintain a Component Library. • Manage Environment Variables to support scalable and configurable deployments. • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly, responsive, and accessible app interfaces. • Follow secure coding standards, governance policies, and best practices for performance optimization. • Support solution deployments, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in building business applications with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse). • Strong hands-on experience with Canvas Apps & Model-Driven Apps. • Experience building and managing Power Pages and portal authentication/configuration. • Expertise in Power Automate (cloud flows, approval flows, RPA optional). • Strong understanding of Dataverse, security roles, and environment strategies. • Experience with Custom Connectors, Connection References, and Environment Variables. • Proficiency in Power Fx and PCF development. • Familiarity with ALM practices in Power Platform (Solutions, Pipelines, Environments). • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles. • Experience integrating Power Platform with external systems and APIs. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
