Power Apps Subject Matter Expert
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 month contract with possible extension
Pay Rate Range: $75-93.75/hour
Overview
We are seeking a Power Apps Subject Matter Expert to support the continued expansion of Microsoft Power Platform capabilities within a large enterprise environment. This role focuses on designing, building, and supporting scalable Power Apps solutions that enable automation, workflow efficiency, and internal tool development across a multi-functional organization.
This opportunity is ideal for hands-on Power Platform professionals who can serve as trusted advisors, translate business needs into effective solutions, and guide best practices for adoption and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a Power Apps subject matter expert supporting multiple teams and initiatives
• Design, build, enhance, and support Power Apps solutions
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective, scalable applications
• Support automated workflows and internal business tools
• Integrate Power Apps with Power BI and other Microsoft tools within the Power Platform ecosystem
• Provide guidance on best practices, usability, governance, and scalability
• Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives
• Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Power Apps
• Hands-on experience building and supporting Power Apps solutions in real-world environments
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to business users
• Proven experience supporting multiple workflows or initiatives simultaneously
Experience Guidelines
• Candidates must clearly demonstrate SME-level capability through prior work experience
• Portfolios, examples of Power Apps solutions, or certifications are helpful but not required
