Power BI Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Power BI Analyst to help develop, refine, and publish public‑facing dashboards that support transparency and effective operations within the organization. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to transform data into clear, actionable reporting tools, with a particular emphasis on permits and public information. What You’ll Do • Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards for internal and public use • Build dashboards highlighting processing timelines and other public‑transparency metrics • Review and upgrade existing dashboards; create new ones based on stakeholder needs • Collaborate with internal team members to align dashboards with business requirements • Publish dashboards to public platforms and support related technical tasks • Use SQL to extract, prepare, and model data • Troubleshoot Power BI and data issues as they arise • Ensure data security and successful deployment in coordination with IT Required Qualifications • 4+ years of experience developing end‑to‑end Power BI dashboards • Strong SQL skills for querying and data transformation • Ability to diagnose and resolve Power BI/data issues • Experience creating dashboards for reporting and analytics • Strong communication and ability to work independently Nice-to-Have Experience • Familiarity with Accela or similar permitting systems • Experience in municipal/government reporting • Experience publishing dashboards to public websites or portals
