Power BI Architect [Contract W2]

Job Title: Senior Power BI Architect Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) NOTE: I need someone with excellent communication skills, and it is good to have both PowerBI and Snowflake skills. PowerBI DAX queries and Semantic models is mandatory. Role & Responsibilities Proficiency Level: Senior Architect / Power BI Consultant Scope of Activities Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, guiding teams in delivering visualization solutions for Polaris P1. Provide recommendations on design, data modeling, and build to ensure solutions are performant, scalable, and aligned with business needs.Review and endorse dashboard data and semantic model designs prior to advancing to the build stage.Provide hands‑on support for select dashboards where expert‑level capability is required.Collaborate closely with Business Capability, Analytics Data Product, and Visualization teams to ensure consistent implementation of visualization guidelines, standards, and governance practices. Help define and reinforce best practices for Power BI development, performance tuning, and UX standards.Skills Needed Extensive consulting and hands‑on experience with enterprise Power BI, including design, data modeling, performance optimization, and architecture, as well as Snowflake.Strong customer engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to align cross‑functional teams around best practices.
