• Integrate diverse data sources (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, SAP, Oracle Financials) via Dataflows, Data Factory, and Direct Lake for real-time/near-real-time dashboards.
• Build advanced paginated reports, AI visuals, and executive scorecards; enable business self-service while enforcing standards and performance SLAs.
• Drive Agile delivery: Participate in sprint planning, mentor BI developers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with data engineers on ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Optimize platform performance: Query tuning, gateway management, monitoring with Fabric Capacity Metrics, and CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions/YAML.
Required Qualifications
• 12+ years BI/data engineering experience; 8+ years advanced Power BI (Service, Desktop, Premium/Fabric, SSAS Tabular).
• Expert-level DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling (star schemas, slowly changing dimensions); proven delivery of enterprise-scale solutions (1TB+ datasets).
• Strong SQL (complex analytics, indexing, partitioning); integration with Azure ecosystem (Synapse, Data Factory, Purview, Logic Apps).
• Deep governance/security experience: RLS, object-level security, audit logs, endorsement/certification workflows.
• Banking/finance domain knowledge (multi-GAAP, IFRS, risk modeling, regulatory reporting) preferred.
• Bachelor's/Master's in CS, Engineering, or related; certifications: Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Power BI Data Analyst PL-300 (or equivalent).
Preferred Skills
• Power BI Embedded, Copilot Studio integration, real-time streaming (Direct Lake/Eventstream).
