Power BI Architect

Job Title: Power BI Report Architect (Strategist) Location: Wilmington, MA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)- Local only Duration: Contract through Dec 2026 (possible extension) MOI: Video Job Summary Seeking a senior Power BI Report Architect to lead enterprise reporting strategy and migration from Tableau to Power BI. The role focuses on Power BI architecture, dashboard modernization, data modelling, DAX, and BI governance for internal employee dashboards and reporting platforms. Responsibilities • Lead Power BI architecture and reporting strategy • Migrate Tableau dashboards to Power BI • Design scalable data models and semantic layers • Develop complex DAX measures and KPIs • Optimize dashboard performance and governance • Collaborate with business and data engineering teams • Establish BI best practices and reporting standards Required Skills • 10+ years in BI/Data Analytics • Strong expertise in Power BI architecture and Microsoft BI stack • Hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modelling • Background in Data Engineering and SQL • Understanding of Tableau architecture and migration • Experience with enterprise dashboards and reporting strategy • Azure/Microsoft ecosystem experience preferred Preferred • Microsoft Fabric / Azure Synapse experience • Power BI Certifications • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
