Power BI Developer

Power BI Developer Remote Prefer someone in the CST As part of next gen evolution of our GDW, we are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to build custom Power BI visuals (multi-segment tachometer/gauge etc) to build Global Business Management Cockpit. These visuals will be a reusable component, developed with the Power BI Custom Visual SDK and D3.js, and must support dynamic data inputs, custom color schemes, deep drill down capabilities and clear copilot integration. Responsibilities • Develop a custom semi-circular gauge/tachometer visual in Power BI. • Implement multiple segments, KPI thresholds, legends, and labels. • Ensure high performance and smooth rendering across different datasets. • Package the visual into a deployable .pbiviz file for internal use. • Work closely with our Global BI team to refine requirements and deliver iterative prototypes. • Document code and provide knowledge transfer for future maintenance. Required Skills • 3–5+ years front-end development experience. • Strong expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript. • Proven experience with D3.js and SVG graphics. • Knowledge of Node.js, npm, and Git. • Experience building custom, data-driven visualizations. Nice to Have • Prior experience with the Power BI Custom Visuals SDK (pbiviz). • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and KPI visualization. • React or Vega-Lite (Deneb) knowledge. • Experience using Incorta as an ETL and Data lake This is a 4 to 6 month contract.
