Power BI Developer

Job Title: Power BI Developer Location: Onsite (The Woodlands, Texas Need Locals or Nearby) Client Notes: They have to be true power bi developers, not data engineers who have power bi as an add on. Job Summary: The person will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining multiple dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. The candidate will need to gain a deep understanding of the relevant enterprise data models, operational systems and enterprise data warehouse to design and deliver impactful, strategic, analytic, and reporting solutions to enhance critical business processes. This hands-on role requires critical thinking, strong technical skills, and the ability to execute and deliver. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields • 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer with expertise in DAX queries, M queries, data visualization, gateways, and connectors. • Expert creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Histograms, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc. • Microsoft PowerBI Data Analyst certification is a plus. • Working and hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sharepoint. • Expertise in writing SQL queries and data extraction using ODBC
