Power BI Developer

Power BI Developer 12mth Fixed Term Contract Hybrid - Lancashire offices (3-4 visits per month) Role purpose To deliver enhanced visualisation and reporting and support BI Partners identifying opportunities for improved BI Outputs. Promote visualisation excellence and best practice throughout the business. Provide expertise within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the most appropriate technology and tools are used. Proven experience with the following is essential: - • Experience of using visualisation standards and best practices to design and deliver intuitive, well-designed solutions, focusing specifically on developing data-sets that can be consumed as Power BI reports • Proven experience with providing the organisation with a high degree of technical leadership that in turn delivers innovative and appropriate technical solutions. • This role requires a broad knowledge of typical Enterprise IT solutions and data models within a Manufacturing and distribution environment. Demonstrable experience and proficiency with:- • SQL development within SQL Server Management Studio. • Report Development in Microsoft Power BI. • Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI Desktop. • Experience of Data Modelling techniques such as Star Schema, Conceptual, Logical. • Preferred Knowledge of Microsoft ERP product and data including D365.
