Role description
Title: Power BI Developer (Contract) Rate: Up to £350 Per Day (Outside IR35) Location: Fully remote (UK) Start Date: ASAP iO Associates is exclusively working with a data-driven organisation looking for an experienced Power BI contractor to support the design and delivery of high-quality reports and dashboards for business stakeholders. You'll work with data from a central data warehouse and play a key role in turning reporting requirements into clear, usable insights, including working with financial and commercial data. This role is perfect for someone who can own delivery, troubleshoot issues confidently, and work independently while turning complex data into clear insights, particularly financial and commercial data What you'll be doing • Designing, building, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards • Translating business reporting needs into clear, user-friendly visualisations • Working with a central data warehouse to model, query, and validate data • Building dashboards that support financial and commercial reporting • Optimising dashboard performance, usability, and consistency • Collaborating with analytics, data, and business teams to iterate on insights What they're looking for • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modelling, dashboard design) • Solid understanding of SQL and data warehouses • Experience building reports for non-technical stakeholders • Experience working with financial data or commercial metrics (preferred) • Comfortable working independently as a contractor • Strong attention to detail and an eye for storytelling with data Our client has a 1 stage interview process and will move quickly for the right candidate!
