Role: Power BI Developer (Healthcare) Work Location: Remote Client: Insight Global / Providence St. Joseph Health System Visa: Independent Visa on W2 Required Skills & Experience • 7+ years experience with Power BI development and migrations • Mandatory: Recent experience (within last 3 years) with Tableau to Power BI migration • Strong Power BI development (dataset design & data model design) • Experience with Power BI or Tableau development within a Healthcare environment • Proficiency in writing SnowSQL and SQL queries • Solid Healthcare industry experience Nice To Have Skills • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field • SnowSQL Certification • Power BI Developer/Designer Certification • Experience in Agile project environments Role Summary The BI Developer will be part of a team decommissioning Tableau for a large health system on the West Coast. Before year-end, 800 1,000 reports will be migrated from Tableau to Power BI, tested, and validated to enable the decommissioning of Tableau at the start of 2026. Responsibilities include: • Analyzing existing clinical, finance, and operational reports • Determining opportunities to combine/subdivide reports for maximum accessibility • Migrating reports manually into Power BI • Building dashboards for healthcare business units (clinical, finance, operations)
