Role description
We’re seeking a Power BI Developer to design and deliver high-impact business intelligence solutions that drive data-informed decision-making. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and business insight, working closely with stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable dashboards and reporting.
The ideal candidate brings strong Power BI expertise, a solid foundation in data modeling and SQL, and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data integration and analytics.
What You’ll Do
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights
• Integrate data from enterprise systems, including:
• Corporate Inventory Systems
• Oracle databases
• PI Historian
• Build and optimize data models and ETL/ELT pipelines for performance and scalability
• Automate manual analytical processes, including:
• Trend analysis
• Gain/Loss calculations
• Standard deviation thresholds
• Identification of abnormal patterns
• Deliver standardized, audit-ready reporting outputs
• Eliminate reliance on manual spreadsheet-based processes
• Implement automated data refresh and reporting workflows
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to define requirements and deliver solutions
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in a Power BI Developer or similar BI role
• Strong expertise in:
• Power BI Desktop & Service
• DAX and Power Query
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:
• BigQuery
• Cloud SQL
• Dataflow
• Pub/Sub
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance tuning
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and user experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with additional BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Qlik)
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis or automation
• Exposure to CI/CD practices for BI/report deployment
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM roles, and compliance within GCP
