Power BI Developer – Healthcare Analytics (Philadelphia, PA) | Transform all-payer claims into actionable healthcare insights to drive patient engagement and operational performance.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 – $2,810
• Location: On-site in Philadelphia, PA (19104) — Philadelphia healthcare / Pennsylvania healthcare role
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 8 Hour Any
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Employment Type: Permanent / MSP Contract

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with all-payer claims datasets (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) in a healthcare setting — experience as a Claims Analyst / Healthcare Data Analyst preferred
• Expert-level Power BI development: DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, measures, report performance tuning, and workspace administration
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, ETL support, transformation, and validation across relational databases
• Experience with Strata Decision Technology or comparable healthcare cost accounting / analytics platforms
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and coding: ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, revenue codes, NPI, encounter-level claims structure
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate business and clinical requirements into technical, visualization-driven solutions
Key Responsibilities
• Ingest, normalize, and validate all-payer claims data to build curated, analytics-ready datasets for reporting and self-service analytics
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines reconciling claims across commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and self-pay populations
• Design and build enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports aligned to healthcare KPIs, clinical analytics, and operational priorities
• Create interactive visualizations illustrating patient journey, network leakage, provider relationships, utilization, and operating performance
• Partner with platform and data engineers to ensure optimal data extraction, lineage, refresh cadences, and data governance
• Maintain Power BI workspace governance including dataset refresh schedules, row-level security (RLS), version control, and performance monitoring
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and iterate on visualization requirements
• Provide clear documentation including data dictionaries, dashboard user guides, mapping logic, and methodology notes to support self-service analytics and auditability
