Power BI Developer

We’re seeking a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize business intelligence solutions that drive data-driven decisions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on transforming data into actionable insights and collaborating across teams. 💼 Job Type: Contract to Hire 🌍 Location: St. Louis, MO (Preferred) Key Responsibilities • Design and develop engaging Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business needs • Gather and interpret business requirements for analytics and visualization • Collaborate with data engineers to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting • Create complex DAX calculations and measures to enable deep data analysis • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices • Troubleshoot and optimize existing Power BI reports • Provide training and support to end users • Stay current with the latest Power BI updates, features, and trends Qualifications & Skills • Proven experience in Power BI development and dashboard creation • Strong understanding of data modeling and visualization principles • Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation • Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) • Familiarity with data warehouse and ETL concepts • Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field • Power BI certification is a plus
