Job Description Job Title : Power BI Developer Location : Westlake, TX (relocation is fine) Duration : 12 Months Work Auth. : USC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD and L2S Pay Rate : $60/hr. on C2C Experience : 12+ years Interview : Video Job Description : Role Clarification: • Primary focus: Power BI developer with strong reporting lens • Secondary requirement: Understanding of data modeling and Snowflake as the sole data source to optimize performance • Key responsibilities: Migrate reports from OS to Power BI, build semantic models, optimize DAX functions, and determine best placement of calculations (Power BI vs. database) • Differentiator: Proactive problem-solving, working with COE teams, and building reusable templates Must Have Skills: • Extensive experience in handling and processing large datasets (terabyte scale) daily. • Strong proficiency in Power BI Development, Snowflake-specific SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning. • Expertise in data modeling techniques and optimizing storage and compute costs in Snowflake. • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python for automation. • Experience in integrating Snowflake with BI tools like Power BI • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and their data services.
