Power BI Developer (REV CYCLE FOCUSED)

• This is a critical need that will report to the NEW VP of Rev Cycle and will be focused on Special Projects for Epic Reporting specific to Rev-Cycle. The communication has to be top-notch, and the experience has to be Rev-Cycle. - Role Overview We are seeking a Power BI Developer with Revenue Cycle expertise to design and deliver executive-level dashboards . This role will focus on transforming Epic and third-party Revenue Cycle data into visually compelling, actionable dashboards that support leadership decision-making and operational oversight. The Power BI Developer will be a key contributor during the build, scale, and optimization phases analytics strategy, partnering closely with Epic Report Writers, data analysts, and Rev-Cycle leadership. Core Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain executive-level dashboards using enterprise BI platform (Power BI) • Transform and model Epic and third-party Revenue Cycle data into clean, scalable datasets • Deliver dashboards including: • Revenue Cycle Executive Dashboard • CDI Dashboard with drill-down capabilities • Revenue Integrity & Coding dashboards • Service Area trending (SA30 / SA50) • Apply advanced Power BI capabilities to create high-impact visualizations: • DAX calculations • Complex data models • Performance-optimized visuals • Ensure dashboards align with standards for usability, governance, and performance • Collaborate with Epic Report Writers and analysts to ensure data accuracy and consistency • Support enhancements, refinements, and leadership-driven analytics requests • Required Skills & Experience • Advanced expertise in: • Power BI • DAX • Data modeling and performance optimization • Strong understanding of healthcare Revenue Cycle data and metrics • Experience integrating Epic data (Clarity/Caboodle) with third-party data sources • Proven ability to build executive-ready dashboards with drill-down and storytelling capabilities • Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into BI solutions • Experience supporting senior healthcare leadership preferred
