Power BI Developer

One of our top clients is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to support Strategic Finance initiatives at a global enterprise fully remote! This contractor will own the full reporting lifecycle — from business requirements through dashboard delivery — to help drive data-informed decisions across pricing, revenue optimization, and market intelligence. Required Skills & Experience • 4+ years of experience in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling • Proficiency using Anaplan • Proven experience developing dashboards for finance, pricing, RevOps, or similar domains • Hands-on experience with Power BI Service (publishing, scheduling, workspace management) • Able to work independently with minimal guidance, including direct engagement with business stakeholders • Experience building from raw, unstructured inputs (e.g. Excel dumps or flat files) • Strong communicator, capable of translating business needs into effective visualizations • Bonus: Familiarity with Snowflake, SQL, Azure, or Microsoft Fabric Responsibilities • Partner directly with Strategic Finance stakeholders to understand business questions and define reporting needs • Translate raw data (Excel, CSV, or direct DB connections) into clean, structured datasets and reusable data models • Build dynamic, executive-ready Power BI dashboards to support pricing and deal strategy decisions • Lead requirements gathering, wireframing, development, testing, documentation, and deployment • Collaborate with internal IT teams to obtain data access, but drive all reporting execution independently • Maintain clear SOPs and documentation to support handoff and reusability
