Job#: 3018572 Job Description: Role: Power BI Developer Location: Hybrid - 4 days/week onsite in SE MI Duration: Long-Term Contract Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining sophisticated dashboards that drive data-driven decision-making for our website. This role is ideal for a technical expert who thrives on collaboration and wants to make a tangible impact on how a global organization leverages digital data. Our primary focus is reporting on website performance; therefore, a deep background in digital analytics is critical. You will work with large-scale datasets from Adobe Analytics and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) to create a unified, 360-degree view of digital performance, site activity, and revenue outcomes. The Impact You'll Make: The end goal isn't just building a report; it's arming internal stakeholders with the clarity needed to make better business decisions. You will act as a "data translator"-taking vague business requirements and converting them into intuitive dashboard layouts and visualization components that allow users to reach insights instantly. Responsibilities • Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Power BI dashboards that provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights into digital performance. • Advanced DAX & Modeling: Author complex Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and measures to support dynamic analysis and ensure data integrity. • Stakeholder Consultation: Partner closely with internal teams to understand their business needs, translating high-level questions into technical requirements and user-centric visualizations. • Data Engineering Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Analytics Engineers to align on data requirements and design transformation pipelines within Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), handling complex business rules and high-volume clickstream data. • Data Modeling: Build and optimize Power BI data models that transform raw, disparate data into clean, validated, and reusable datasets. • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all reporting. • Innovation: Stay at the forefront of the Power BI ecosystem, adopting new features and best practices to continuously improve our visualization capabilities. Qualifications • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in data visualization and business intelligence. • Power BI Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Power BI is mandatory, including expert-level DAX skills and experience with complex data modeling. • Digital Analytics: Strong experience working with digital analytics data (e.g., Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) and a solid understanding of e-commerce metrics. • Cloud Data Warehousing: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, specifically BigQuery, and the ability to write/understand SQL. • Analytical Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements. • Communication: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Agile Mindset: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment. Preferred Skills • Direct experience with Adobe Analytics implementation or reporting. • Experience analyzing Clickstream data. • Advanced SQL skills for data exploration and validation. • Experience building/maintaining data transformation pipelines in Google Cloud Platform. • Familiarity with GitHub for version control. • Experience using JIRA for project and task management.
